Transition

At this current point in my life, im in a time of transition and I believe its a big one at that. A time where I must take the experiences and things ive learned and put them into action. A time where I am to discover more of who I am and what role I will play in the things to come. A time to be free and fully express myself, to fly high and have faith. A time to reunite, reignite, strengthen and build on the relathionships, brotherhoods, and family that I am so blessed to have. A time to see visions and dream dreams. A time to stop and smell the roses, to simply enjoy life. A time to create and build the world we wish to see around us. A time to Love and be Loved.

Update

Hello Everyone, well for the past two months ive been living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Im working with Pick a Pocket on The Koshe Project. The Koshe Project This project was created around a group of 13 teenage girls who had to work in a massive garbage dump searching for recyclables and other things to sell. Now that they are no longer in the dump, they come to our house everyday after school where there is discipleship, teaching, love, guidance, fellowship, food, and a building up of community. Also at the house the girls now sew and make amazing t shirts that we then take to Germany and the states to sell, all the profits go right back to the girls and there families. This has provided an income for the girls and there families which means no more living in trash  and Ive also been meeting with a man named Solomon who Pick a Pocket also supports, you may have seen his bracelets we sell. Some other things I do are little fix jobs around the house, meeting and building reltionships with people and now helping to take care of 9 puppies lol. Some friends that I have made are really great people that challenge me and I can have a lot of fun with like my friend Frank from Uganda, Harry from Brazil, and my friend Yared. Yared is a rasta I met at a reggea concert (Halie Roots and Teddy Afro). He is an amazing fine artist who even recieved a green award for making art and products out of trash and recycbles. He also makes music which is about to be recorded, and is a rising comedian as well. Yared has also done work with street childerden in the past, showing them how to use the things around them creativly for artand for practial uses, turing them into things they use or need on a daily basis. So hes well on his way and I like hanging out and getting to know him so I can see yet another side of Ethiopia, the rasta, the artist, a rising name and humble guy. He also voiced intrest in doing some art workshops with the girls. I exprienced and learned many new things while on this trip, I hope when I get home we can talk about some of the stories. Until then God Bless.

Who are you?

We all have different personas inside of us and I believe when we are true to them and who we are then we are truly free from conformity and falseness. However when doing so we must respect and be understanding of others as well which would then make everyone equally able to be who they are without judgement from man. As life goes on and  we have millions of new experiences everyday we will discover new ideas, understandings, new ways of living and of expressing ourselves. These things will either be disguarded or they will change and alter you. Weather that alteration is just the tiniest difference or one of a stronger influence. It may even create a new persona of who you think you are. So often we suppress or hide aspects of who we are. We hide certain things from certain people for fear of what they may think. Or we hide them all together, sometimes even to ourselves. I think there is much Honor, Bravery, and Respect in being very open with who you are and what you believe while living it out. We must understand we all have secrets, we all have good parts we all have bad parts. Imagine if we could share  All of those things with each other and not pass judgement. If we came to the realization that we are all messed up and then we lovingly looked past the differences we have with each other that are not a harm to anyone. Then we helped each other through the struggles of bettering ones self. When we know one another that well and that closely we not only achieve freedom but we also are able to partner with one another as we all walk this earth, through Troubles and Joys, Temptation and Honor, Anger and Love. The question is, are you living out what you truly believe? Are you living out who you truly think you are deep in the depths of your Mind, Body, and Soul.

Reasons I wear so many Necklaces and Bracelets

My necklaces and bracelets are reminders. Reminders of stories and adventures. Reminders of people that have impacted me in so many ways, and a reminder of the friendship and love that is shared. They are a connection to others that may be in a far away land, or right down the street. Some of them I made, and some of them were gifts. But no matter how I got them they are all a little piece of the land they came from, and each hold little pieces of the places I have been. They mean a lot to me for those reasons, and are not some stupid fashion statement its just a part of who I am. And thats why I wear so many necklaces and bracelets. ps. this goes for the beads and such in my hair.

Awaken Life

Almighty fill me with your Life today. As the Sun burns Celestial Fire, and emits its light and energy, May I absorb and perceive it to the fullest. When I encounter the Sacred element of Water, which supports all life, May it revive and rejuvenate Mind, Body, and Soul. Sister Earth with your greenness and variety of life, May I learn to respect and live along side of all creation. As the Air moves, and the Wind blows, May I hear your whispers, and breathe in your Mysteries. Almighty fill me with your life today.

This is my new morning mediation and prayer.

The Sky is Blank, Just Frozen Liqued from the sky.

this is so sad, and so not true. Was Jesus not a free thinker? who went against the church and government of his time? This is why I don’t like church that much

Chains

Why are we so angry at each other? Why do we continue to hold on to the hate that is slowly rotting the soul? For we’ve all been through hardships, we’ve all been through oppression and persecution. Every culture, every religion has been under attack, and instead of beginning to heal we hold to angry and lash out at each other. Almost afraid to let go of the hate, almost afraid to see what we can achieve if we forgave one another and came together in unity. For if we don’t come together it will never end, well always be in chains, well always return to that place of sorrow and pain, well never feel that healing rain.

Morning Stillness

The air is still this morning and the sun rising, giving birth to a new day. Revelation and Enlightenment is achieved.

I believe religion is fake, made up by man. Man took God and gave him rules and regulations, put him in a box and gave him  boundaries. I Believe I am one with the Almighty, and strive to dive deeper everyday.
